The emergency clamp

The emergency clamp is used for fastening the wooden patch with soft sides and the wooden board on the hole.

The emergency clamp is used in the event when the using of the the emergency bars or metal sliding stops is not applicable.

The manufacturer guarantees the emergency clamp requirements established by GOST 5228-89, if the conditions of the transportation, the storage, the installation and the operation are followed.

Warranty period is 1 year from the date of manufacture.

The clamps are issued two sizes depending on the size of the frame spacing. And also the emergency clamps are issued in two types with the captures for the frames with the angular or the bulb profiles.

Version №1: the emergency clamp 500 mm for the frame with the angular profile;

Version №2: the emergency clamp 500 mm for frame with the the bulb profile;

Version №3: the emergency clamp 800 mm for frame with the the angular profile;

Version №4: the emergency clamp 800 mm for frame with the the bulb profile.

 

The emergency clamp consists of the beam, the removable captures and the clamping screw. The beam of the clamp is made of two channels interconnected by the straps. On the beam there are two removable captures with the stop screws and the nut - slider with the clamping screw. The  captures for the frames with the bulb profiles have the forms of  the all-welded hook-shaped products, connected in the middle of the axis.

Characteristics of the emergency clamp:

 

Purpose:

The emergency clamp is used for fastening the wooden patch with soft sides and the wooden board on the hole if it’s not impossible to use the emergency beams or the metal sliding stop for this purpose.

The installation of the emergency clamp is carried out as follows (see the fig.):

- give the stop screws 4 of the captures 6;

-          push the captures 6 and strengthen them for the frames 9, and then stopped the screws of the captures 4;

-          get the patch 8 under the saddle of the clamping screw 2, between this construction install the wooden packing 7 and at the same time move the patch and the clamp on the hole;

-          fix the patch 8 on the hole 11 by the rotation of the clamping screw 2.

The service life is 15 years.

Safety requirements and environmental protections

 

1.      The using of the emergency clamp don’t require the special security measures.

 

2.      The using is explosion-proof, fireproof, radiation proof, electrical proof, chemical proof.

 

3. The exploitation of the emergency clamp doesn't exert impact on environment:

 

-          there is no chemical, electromagnetic, thermal and biological influences;

 

-          toxic, polluting, fire and explosive substances aren't formed.

 

4. It is necessary to protect the emergency clamp from hit of fuels and lubricants and chemically dangerous substances.

5. The utilization is made by the user according to the Federal Law No. 89 F3 "About production wastes and consumption" taking into account regional norms and rules.

Operating instructions

1. Content of entrance control:

1.1. The need of the entrance control and the quantity of the emergency clamps which are the subject of the entrance the control is defined by the customer (consumer).

1.2 . The visual inspection should be given.

1.3 . The content of the external inspection. Check: the compliance with the set passport of the product; the psence of labels; no signs of the critical state - cracks on the body product, cracks or lack of a glass.

1.4 . The exploitation of the emergency clamp with the signs of the critical state is forbidden.

2. Survey

2.1. The survey of the product is carried out before the installation on the vessel.

2.2. The survey of the product is carried out in the volume of the entrance control.

3. Repairs. The stop  isn't the subject to repair.

4. Using of the stop to destination.

4.1. The using of the stop not for the intended purpose is FORBIDDEN.

4.2. The installation of the emergency stop is carried out as follows:

- give the stop screws of the captures;

-          push the captures and strengthen them for the frames, and then stopped the screws of the captures;

-          get the patch under the saddle of the clamping screw, between this construction install the wood packing and at the same time move the patch and the clamp on the hole;

-          fix the patch on the hole by the rotation of the clamping screw.
5. Transportation and storage.

Transportation conditions: the climate - 4 ( G2 ) in accordance with GOST 15150 for 3 months . Storage conditions: 1.2 according to GOST 15150 (storage with controlled temperature and humidity).
